Beach in Jaffa

Jaffa, also known as Yafo, is an ancient port city, and the building block of Tel Aviv. The area is marked by tension because the influx of Israeli immigrants during Israel's establishment in 1948 corralled the Palestinian population, cutting the city of Jaffa off from other Palestinian areas.
