Golfing the Maasai Mara

Within the Mara are four main types of terrain: sandy soil and leafy bushes to the east, a plateau in the west, grasslands and acacia woodlands, leaving plains to form the largest part of the reserve with scattered bushes and boulders atop grasslands.
